I have developed the LGCI to give alert levels for different factors based on my own judgment. A final total average indicates overall global crisis level.

Assessments may slide up or down according to changing world circumstances.

• Unlikely: No crisis is expected to develop.
• Predicted: Crisis may not be apparent but is expected to develop.
• Developing: Crisis is developing but not yet imminent.
• Imminent: Crisis is about to appear with impact.
• It's here: Crisis has arrived with impact.
